Possible lane closures on Kaumuali‘i Highway between Akialoa Road and Macarthur Park through Nov. 24, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily. Crews will be installing concreted drilled shafts near Kekaha Beach Park to repair shoreline erosion damage. Roadwork is anticipated to be complete in February 2013.
Lihu‘e to Lawa‘i
Alternating lane closures on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) from the Knudsen Gap near Mile Post 6 to Piko Road in Lawa‘i near Mile Post 10, on Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for tree-trimming of branches from roadside power lines.
Kalaheo
Possible lane closures on Kaumuali‘i Highway between Kahili Mountain Park Road and Lio Road through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily. Crews will be installing new pavement striping and markers. This is part of a 26 miles pavement marking and signage project from Mana to the vicinity of Maluhia Road. Roadwork is anticipated to be complete in March 2013.

Kapa‘a to Anahola
Alternating lane closures on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) in both directions between Kamole Road in Kapa‘a and Kukuihale Road in Anahola on Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for pavement resurfacing. Work will take place weekly through mid-December.
Hanalei (continuous)
Single lane closure on Kuhio Highway in both directions between Hanalei Plantation Road and Ohiki Road, near the Hanalei Stream Bridge through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., daily for repairs to slope erosion. Traffic will be contraflowed using the remaining open lane.
Kilauea (continuous)
Single lane closures on Kuhio Highway in the eastbound direction between Kahiliholo Road and Kalihiwai Road, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, through early, for slope erosion repair. Traffic will be contraflowed using the remaining open lane. Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the area and to allow for extra travel time.
