Carol Beardmore said she was going to be famous, peddling the Garden Island Range and Food Festival T-shirts Sunday at the Kilohana Carriage House.
Kudos to Duane Shimogawa and his committee on another good event! Ed and Cynthia Justus of Talk Story Bookstore just returned from a tour of bookstores and are getting excited about the holidays … they even won a Pacific Business News award, recently which thrilled Cynthia.
Congratulations to Chef Martina Hilldorfer and the Kaua‘i Community College culinary arts department on the new kitchen! KCC is really getting into the communications mode with Cammie Matsumoto getting help from Keisaku Yogi doing video and they had two volunteers with cameras to record the blessing of the new facility.
More kudos to Tom Lodico, Dick Olsen, Tyson Chihara, Jim Mayfield and all the Rotary Club of Kaua‘i people on a great Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run (they even had Helen Cox and Cammie pulling tags).
