The Fair Tax Plan is the answer
The income tax creates a stagnant economy for the United States. Companies have moved overseas to give their investors a tax advantage. They will not return to the U.S. until our system gives them an advantage in the world market.
The answer to this is The Fair Tax Plan. It will: eliminate income tax and the IRS, jump-start the economy, bring jobs back to the U.S., capture untaxed dollars currently lost to criminal and offshore businesses, allow you to keep 100 percent of your paycheck, let you save all the money you want and pay taxes only when you spend it, eliminate taxes you don’t even know you are paying, lower interest rates and make April 15 just another beautiful spring day. If everyone tells their congressman to support HR25, we can turn this economy around as soon as it is enacted.

KNA invites everyone to get involved
As the board of the Kilauea Neighborhood Association (KNA), we would like to extend a big mahalo to all that supported the Spaghetti Dinner event that took place on Friday, Nov. 9. It was a great success and an excellent opportunity for us to come together and feel connected as a community.
We would like to invite the Kilauea community to attend the KNA General meeting on Dec. 4, when we will hold nominations and elections for the upcoming year. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Kilauea Neighborhood Center. We urge others to become involved with their respective community organizations, as we shape our island‘s future.
Me ke aloha,
Yoshito L‘Hote, The KNA Board, Kilauea
Mahalo to my supporters
Mahalo to my campaign supporters and to our newly elected 2012 winners, please, people first!
My sincere gratitude to all my ‘ohana, friends, organizations of whom I am engaged, and business associates who supported my campaign as a candidate for the OHA Maui Trustee Seat for 2012.
The aftermath of my campaign is one of total acceptance, no regrets, as my merits and passion for the people of Hawai‘i were my strengths to challenge this OHA Maui trustee seat.
I congratulate and convey my best wishes to all the winners in every political race for 2012. May their strengths and integrity that were pledges to the people of Hawai‘i nei counter our dismal economy to positive heights as to remain the same is to slump even more into recession. To serve our people of Hawai‘i nei is your duty and our future depends on your individual leadership experiences and strengths to prevail a better tomorrow to our current economic woes.
We are of one country, the United States of America, and we, the people who you all serve are depending on your integrity and hard work! Holomua, Hawai‘i!
