Laura Cristobal of The Salty Wahine had some great Thanksgiving treats (Cranberry Lilikoi Sauce, anyone?) on tap Wednesday at the Gourmet Community Market, and Sandy Poehnelt of The Right Slice had her Cranberry Walnut Pudding pie, which she said is so good, there’s no need for turkey.
Congratulations to Stacy Chiba-Miguel who just got married. She had to take care of the Koloa Elementary School kids (even Nicholas Gilbert came for that shindig) before heading off to honeymoon.
Tyler Chihara said Saturday is the Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run (is Jared Okayama running?) to benefit the Rotary Club of Kaua‘i and then, it’s the Lights on Rice parade Dec. 7.
OK, time to go check out the Hanapepe Colts Junior Pee Wee who play the Manoa JPW for the Regional Championship Saturday at noon at Vidinha Stadium.
