Registration for students interested in playing for the county’s boys and girls Winter Basketball League will be accepted on Nov. 26 and 27, and on Jan. 28 and 29.
Division I players, comprised of students in grades 3 and 4, and Division II players, comprised of students in grades 5 and 6, will take place on Nov. 26 and 27 at several neighborhood centers.
The county’s Department of Parks and Recreation will be accepting registrations at the Kilauea, Kapa‘a, Lihu‘e and Kalaheo neighborhood centers.
Registration fee for each participant is $30 and payment must be made by check or money order payable to the “Director of Finance.” No cash will be accepted.
Students in Division III, comprised of grades 7 and 8, will have their registration on Jan. 28 and 29.
The tentative start for the winter basketball league is Jan. 7, 2013.
