WAIMEA — All families of Waimea High School students are invited to the school’s Student Review on Tuesday. This is an opportunity for parents/guardians to meet one-on-one with teachers for a quick report of their child’s status.
Parents will receive a listing of their child’s classes, teachers’ names and locations at the table fronting the main office for pick up when they sign in to attend the student review.
Meetings with the teachers are on a first-come, first-served basis, not to exceed 5 minutes in length, especially if other parents are waiting, according to school officials.
Student review times are as follows:
• 1 to 4 p.m.: Student reviews (in child’s classrooms) — afternoon session
• 5 to 8 p.m.: Student reviews (in child’s classrooms) — evening session
School officials recommend parents bring a flashlight as the campus can get dark in some spots.
