LIHU‘E — Deadline for vendors interested in participating in the Grove Farm Community Swap meet is this Friday.
The Grove Farm Swap Meet will be held Nov. 17 at the Grove Farm Park located in Puhi behind the Kaua‘i Harley-Davidson from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Marissa Sandblom of the Grove Farm Co. said this will be the last swap meet of the 2012 year. The swap meet’s loyal, regular vendors as well as new vendors are gearing up to help people with their holiday shopping.
She said a new facet of the swap meet will be the Crossfit Hi booth, a group fitness, “bootcamp-style” program for people of any level.
Representatives from Crossfit Hi will also lead two free fitness introduction demonstrations for anyone interested in participating. The first demonstration will start at 9 a.m. and the second one starting at 11 a.m.
Sandblom said the demonstrations should take place in the middle of the booth area.
“Crossfit Hi work to create an intense and fun workout for everybody and hopefully, that will add some excitement to things,” Sandblom said in an email. “We are really looking forward to a fun day.”
Vendors interested in participating in the swap meet can call Sandblom at 245-3678.
