Misao Ringor
Misao Kinoshita Ringor of Lihue passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on October 22, 2012, at the age of 90. She was born in Huleia, Kauai on February 7, 1922, and was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Katsumi Iida and Crespin Ringor; son, Gary Iida; brothers, Isoo Kinoshita, Sueo Kinoshita, Yoshi Kinoshita; sisters, Harue Nahinu, Alice Anama; granddaughter, Charlene Nance.
She is survived by five children, Carol Toyofuku, Larry (Arlene) Iida, Karen Iida, Leonard (Janice) Ringor, Kathleen (Seeper) Soogrim; brother, Kiyoto (Eunice) Kinoshita; four sisters, Sunao Pescador, Tomie Kelekoma, Fujiko Yamamoto, Kathryn Oyama; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Lihue Hongwanji with visitation at 3:00 p.m. and services celebrated at 4:00 p.m. Aloha attire suggested and family graciously declines flowers.
Inurnment will follow at a later date.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Ringor family with arrangements.
Vigilant Kaohelaulii
Vigilant Wailama a Kealoha Kaohelulii of Kekaha, Kauai, died on October 19, 2012 at Straub at the age of 58. Born on February 9, 1954, in Puuwai Niihau, she was a Kumu/Educator with Kula aupuni Niihau a Kahelelani aloha.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Malaki Kanahele and Alira Kanahele.
She is survived by her husband, Henry M. Kanahele; son, Chris (Charity) Kanahele of Kaumakani, and hanai son, Roger (Alveeralynn) Kahale of Kalihi, O‘ahu; daughters, Juliet Kanahele, Peggy Kaohelaulii, and Angelene Kanahele, all of Kekaha, and Aloha-lynn Kanahele of Eleele; brothers, Douglas Kanahele and Tony (Miriam) Kanahele, both of Kekaha; sisters, Aka Kanahele of Kekaha, Pupu (Benette) Duarte of Kekaha, and sister-in-law, Sandy Kanahele of Eleele; and grandchildren, Ariana Kahale, Roger Kahale Jr., Kaleo Kaohelaulii, Nalii Kaohelaulii, Keola Keamoai, Christopher Kanahele, Tiana Kanahele, and Chris Kanahele Jr.
Memorial service will be on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Service is from 10 am to 12 noon, burial to follow at the Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.

Sharon Pomroy
Sharon Ann Mapuana Pomroy of Anahola, Kauai, Hawai‘i passed away on October 23, 2012 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 63. Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu on October 10, 1949, she was a sole proprietor of Lehua Mamo Farm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Irmalee Pomroy.
She is survived by her brother, Paul (Noelani) Pomroy, Lihue; sister, Onaona (Kepa) Maly, Honolulu, and numerous aunties & uncles, nieces, nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 12:00 noon at “Lehua Mamo Flower Farm” in Anahola, 4561 Hokualele Road, Island of Kauai.
Arrangements were made by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary, Koloa, Kauai.
Lena Puni Mendonca
Lena Puni Mendonca of Eleele, Kauai, died on October 26, 2012 at Hale Kupuna at the age of 89. Born on September 30, 1923, in Honolulu, she was a retired Bank Teller with First Hawaiian Bank.
Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Mendonca.
She is survived by her son, Paul Kaapua of Kailua; daughter, Lethalia Jones of Eleele; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Kalaheo Ward Latter-Day Saints church. Visitation is from 9 am to 10 am, service begins at 10 am. Burial to follow at the Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Family suggests casual attire and flowers are open.

Taevy Kawena Moises
Taevy Kawena Moises of Waimea, Kauai, died on October 27, 2012 at KVMH. She was born on October 27, 2012.
She is survived by her parents, Brandon Moises and Brandi Hori-Moises; brother, Jeydon Moises; and sister, Braeanna Moises, all of Waimea. Also surviving are numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Private services were held.
