KAPA’A – In an effort to stay on schedule, the contractor for two segments of Ke Ala Hele Makalae will be working during the week, as well as on Saturdays, according to a news release.
The work is being done in Kapa‘a at the intersection of Kuhio Highway and Kawaihau Road, and also along Papaloa Road in Wailua.
Kaikor Construction Co., Inc. was awarded a $3.75 million contract to construct both segments, which are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the area, obey all traffic control devises and police officers, as well as allow for extra travel time.
