People interested in officiating at the inaugural Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation wrestling season are invited to a free meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kaua‘i High School Library on Monday.
Stan Ono, the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association Wrestling Officials Coordinator, and Carl Schorers, the HHSAA Wrestling Sport Coordinator will be the presenters during the meeting.
The first KIF Wrestling tournament will be held at Kapa‘a High School on Jan. 12, 2013 starting at 10 a.m.
There will be five tournaments scheduled between Jan. 12 and Feb. 9 with the KIF Wrestling Championships scheduled for Feb. 16 at Waimea High School starting at 10 a.m.
The HHSAA state tournament will be hosted by the Interscholastic League of Honolulu on March 1 and 2 on O‘ahu.
