Tatiana Dolly Millare
Tatiana Dolly Millare passed away at home on Oct. 2, 2012 at the age of 14.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Guillermo Millare Sr. and Dolores B. Millare.
She is survived by her father, Derek T. Millare; mother, Bernadine Lancaster; sisters, Tiara and Kailana Millare and Taylor Lockhart; brothers, Derek Jr. and Nainoa Millare; and grandparents, Ermine Akuna and Bernard Lancaster Sr.
Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, Oct. 12 at Lihu‘e Baptist Church, family suggest green Aloha wear, visitation at 9 a.m., service at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. Luncheon at 4330 Nani Street, Puhi.
Arrangements were made by Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Shinji Miwa
Shinji Miwa passed away at his home in Wailua, Kaua‘i, on July 31, 2012, at the age of 100. Born in Lihu‘e on Feb. 6, 1912, he was a teacher at Kaua‘i High School until he retired in 1972.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mitsue Togioka Miwa.
He is survived by his daughters, Marilyn Miwa and Judith Stambaugh (Michael) Iwai; granddaughter, Lisa (Eric) Gordon of Napa, Calif.; and great grandchildren, Madison and Chase Gordon. He also is survived by his sister, Yuki (Takashi) Kitaoka, of Honolulu.
Private services were held.
Funeral arrangements were made by Garden Island Mortuary.
