Hanapepe arts, crafts studio plans grand opening

The Studio at Hanapepe will host a grand opening Sunday at 2 p.m. The event will feature local “Made in Hawai‘i” airbrushed clothing, jewelry and art along with refreshments, music and prizes.

Owners Beth and Marielle Leeds are a mother-and-daughter team who have been airbrushing shirts, clothing and pillowcases for more than 40 years.

“We are very excited to open our store in Hanapepe and we’ll be airbrushing right there in the store,” Beth said.

With more than 1,500 feet of studio space, there is lots of room for art classes and wellness workshops as well as children’s storytime shows.

The Studio at Hanapepe is at 3611 Hanapepe Rd., next to Aaron’s Kitchen, across the single lane bridge.
