Stephen W. Porter
Stephen Wayne Porter of Keaau, Hawaii died on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at his home at the age of 59. Born on October 30, 1952 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, he was a carpenter, mason, and US Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his sons, Stephen Porter of Honolulu, Oahu, Jeremy (Annette) Porter of Hilo, Hawaii, and Justin Porter of Kalaheo, Kauai; daughters, Jenny Kwon of Honolulu, Oahu, and Alicia Porter of Keaau, Hawaii; parents, Stewart and Peggy Porter of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; brothers, Stewart Homer “Butch” Porter, Jr., Dennis Lee Porter, John L. Porter, and Eddie Bird, all from Carlisle, Pennsylvania; sister, Cherry Ann (Edward) Ellis of Aspers, Pennsylvania; 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Tamino Ahn
Tamino Ahn of Koloa, Kauai, died on September 11, 2012 at Hale Kupuna at the age of 94. She was born on January 20, 1918 in Koloa, Kauai. She was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by her brother, Jenichi Shigematsu of Koloa; sister, Satomi Nakasone of Koloa; sister-in-law, Yoshiko Shigematsu of Koloa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.

Mary F. Napoleon
Mary F. Napoleon of Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i passed away on Sept. 23, 2012, at her home in Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i at the age of 89. Born on Feb. 5, 1923 in Kilauea, Kaua‘i, she was a retired Janitor for the State of Hawai‘i.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Napoleon; and her daughter, Frances Alejo.
She is survived by her seven daughters, Veronica Sanchez, Winona Sheldon, Lorraine Rapozo, Marie Alejo, Ruby Tsukamoto, Diane (Daniel) Genegabuas, Beverly (Philip) Boiser; hanai daughter, Colleen Aleman; brother, John Pacheco; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Donations can be made to St. Catherine’s Church in memory of Mary F. Napoleon.
