The Kaua‘i Beach Resort in Lihu‘e was the site of a craft fair featuring Hawaiian gifts and locally-crafted goods.
A healthy turnout of visitors and locals wandered from booth to booth. Vendors shared broad insight of their items, and made everyone attending feel comfortable. All the vendors were extremely friendly and every one of them took the time to talk story.
The craft fair was part of the Maile Foundation’s annual Kaua‘i Mokihana Festival.
More than 15 vendors were on hand. A wide range of locally-crafted goods were available: goods included handcrafted candles, leis, clothing, jewelry and even custom photography.
The event ran from Sept. 20 to 22.
Events sponsored by the Maile Foundation run all year round, so be sure to catch the next event as soon as you can. The people at each event are warm, friendly and very insightful.
