LIHU‘E — Taylor Viquelia of Koloa fired a consistent two-day round to top the Girls 15-18 division of the Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association All Ages Junior Tour Series, Sunday at the Kaua‘i Lagoons Golf Club, Waikahe and Moana courses.

Viquelia fired a 78 Saturday to lead the field, and finished with a 78 on Sunday for a two-day 156 total, playing 5,701 yards.
Zoey Akagi-Bustin of Wahiawa, O‘ahu, finished seven strokes behind Viquelia, Saturday and rebounded with the best round Sunday at 75, three strokes ahead of Viquelia, but came up short with a two-day 160, four strokes off the pace.
Randi Kim of Honolulu (89-92-181), Hi‘ilani Rosa-Alana of Lihu‘e (101-91-192) tied with Kari Whitworth of Fort Collins, CO. (90-102-192) for fourth place in the division.
Including the All Ages JTS Kaua‘i, there are four tournaments remaining to earn HSJGA points to qualify for the Hawai‘i team to play in the Asia Pacific Junior Cup, Oct. 31 through Nov. 2.
The APJC will be hosted by the HSJGA and the Waikoloa Beach Resort, King’s Course whose title sponsor is Hilton Grand Vacations.
The top 10 Boys 15-18 and top six Girls 13-18 from across Hawai‘i will make up the team which will be announced on Oct. 16.
Pono Tokioka of Lihu‘e rebounded from his tie for fourth place in the opening round of the Boys 15-18 division to card a 78, the best round in the division, Sunday, playing 6,714 yards, in the final round to end in a tie for the top spot with a two-day 156 (78-78). Lion Rogers of Honolulu was in third place Saturday with a 77, but dropped to 79 in the final round to end with a two-day 156.
Bryden Salvador of Kilauea, was second in the opening round with a 76, but slipped to an 81, Sunday to end with a two-day 157 (76-81) for second place, a stroke off the pace.
Jamie Amimoto of Lihu‘e (78-81-159) filled in the No. 4 spot followed by Trey Kidd of Honolulu (75-86-161) and Colby Takushi of Pearl City, O‘ahu (88-81-169).
Keegan Loo of Lihu‘e finished third in the Boys 13-14 division, playing 6,320 yards. Shawn Lu of Honolulu, taking the lead of the division with a one-under par 71, Saturday, posted an 80 in the final round to end with an aggregate 151 (71-80).
Remington Hirano of Honolulu ended four strokes back at 155 (76-79) followed by Keegan Loo, Cole Shintaku of Honolulu (81-79-160), Nathaniel Idica of Wailuku, Maui (85-81-166) and Trevor Kua of Lihu‘e (85-83-168).
Keegan’s brother Rilen bettered his Saturday round by two strokes, Sunday, but ended fifth in the Boys 11-12 division with a two-day 168 (85-83), playing 5,701 yards.
The division was taken by Ray Kim of Honolulu (79-82-161), Andrew Otani of Honolulu (84-79-163), Taylor John McGerity of Honolulu (81-82-163) and Acey Yanagishita of Honolulu (78-85-163).
Allysha Mae Mateo of Mililani, O‘ahu topped the Girls 11-12 division on a 147 (76-71) over 4,971 yards followed by Samantha Keppel of Honolulu (83-75-158) and Sara Keppel of Honolulu (85-87-172).
Go Nakatsukasa of Fukuoka, Japan topped the Boys 7-10 division over 4,971 yards, posting a two-day 157 (79-78) followed by Christian Ganir of Kapa‘a (86-92-178) and James Pratt of Lihu‘e (100-100-200).
