Hats off to Debbie Bail and all the Kaua‘i All Girls Rodeo Association on a great season! Debbie said she even got to carry the American flag on her last rodeo as KAGRA president.
Dena Souza celebrated her last rodeo by riding a personal best in the 3D Barrels, letting out a whoopie war cry (pow wow coming up Sept. 28 weekend) on the third barrel, and Tammy Pu‘u was able to get a day off to bring Mahina to the rodeo.
Mahalo to Ron Victorino for noting his son, Aaron, a junior at Pacific University where he is on the offensive line, started two games this season. He is joined by Waimea graduate Jonathan Tangalin who is listed as a wide receiver for the Boxers as a freshman. Ron said the Boxers have 29 Hawai‘i players on its roster. So far, the Boxers lost to Simon Fraser 51-14 and defeated the Occidental Tigers, 27-6, and will face Willamette this Saturday.
