Hawai‘i News Now has been on the island a lot over the past three days, Chris Jensen and the Hawai‘i Stream crew working with Keahi Tucker at The Kaua‘i Marathon and Dan Cooke arriving with his cameraman, Paul Omengkar, for a two-day round of filming for an upcoming Hurricane ‘Iniki 20-year special.
Dan said he remembers being on the air with the news, Sept. 10, the night before the hurricane hit.
But aside from the television crews, Morgan Fukumoto of Wagstaff Worldwide in California had Todd Vines of Gilbert and Associates of Maui and a group of more media checking out the breakfast with Colin Derale at the Tortilla Republic.
Stacy Chiba of The Shops at Kukui‘ula said Tortilla Republic just started serving breakfast at The Shops at Kukui‘ula about a month ago and the buzz is it’s a pretty good deal.
