LIHU‘E — The four HI-5 bottle redemption centers operated by Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) that were closed earlier this month are scheduled to reopen today. The centers had been closed since Aug. 1 due to fiscal issues, but the matter has since been resolved, according to a county news release.
The redemption sites are located in the following areas:
• Kekaha, across from the old sugar mill
• Koloa, next to the Koloa fire station
• Kapa‘a, next to Kaua‘i Community Federal Credit Union in the Arzadon Industrial Park
• Kilauea, behind Kaua‘i Mini-Golf
