Pyramid Insurance hires Yamauchi, Javinar on Kaua‘i
LIHU‘E — Pyramid Insurance Ltd. a property and casualty insurance agency, has hired Scott Yamauchi as manager and Michelle Javinar as an agent in its Lihu‘e office on Rice Street.
Yamauchi will be responsible for Pyramid’s operations and client service on Kaua‘i. Before joining Pyramid, Yamauchi, a 16-year veteran of the insurance industry, had been vice president at Royal Insurance Agency in Lihu‘e, where he worked for nearly 15 years. A graduate of Kaua‘i High, Yamauchi has a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Hawai‘i. He serves as a director for the Hawa‘ii Independent Insurance Association. He coaches youth soccer and tee ball.
As an agent, Javinar assists clients with insurance products and services. A 24-year veteran of the industry, Javinar was previously an agent with Silverstone Insurance Services in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., for more than 10 years. Before that she was an owner and vice president of Assured Insurance Services in Upland, Calif., for five years. Javinar is a member of the Kauai Chamber of Commerce’s Event and Activity Committee.
