The public is invited to a painting party with Patrick Ching, a Hawai‘i nature artist, on Aug. 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lighthouse Bistro Lanai in Kilauea. Patrons are able to create their own works of art using Genesis non-toxic heat set oil paints while getting help from Ching.
Cost is $10 for each three-inch by three-inch canvas, and all paints and supplies will be provided while artists are able to order and wine and dine from the Lighthouse Bistro menu while mingling with other artists.
