Registration for the “Beyond the Gold” sports camps are still being accepted.
Organized by Unchartered Waters Sports Ministry, the Kaua‘i Sports Camp will be held at the Kato Gym and field from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. from July 9 through 13 with basketball, soccer, cheerleading and flag football being addressed.
The sports camp will also be offered at the Wailua Houselots Park from 2:30 to 6:15 p.m., also from July 9 to 13, for basketball, soccer and cheerleading.
The “Beyond the Gold” sports camp is open to keiki from 6 through 12 years old and provides basic sports skills, positive role models, Bible stories, skits and music.
Registration is $35 per child for the Kalaheo location with the registration discounted to $30 if two or more children from the same family are attending. Call 332-9916 or 634-8319 for more information.
