Congratulations to Ed Justus on his latest Young Professional of the Year award presented by the Pacific Edge magazine.
Cynthia Justus was just as pleased with the award which brings the Talk Story Book Store to 10 awards since they opened up in Hanapepe.
They’ll be hosting J.C. Crouch and the Kaua‘i Harley-Davidson free ride (Cynthia’s making cookies!) and the big test is to see how many people can find the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Helen Lacono had time to stop by and browse before heading off to make her soup offerings for the Gourmet Community Market at The Shops at Kukui‘ula (you can only get the soup on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m.), and that’s a fine opportunity to meet up with Melissa McFerrin of the Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau (fair coming up in August), or if you’re really lucky, maybe Larry Feinstein will be hanging out as well.
Meanwhile, Mark Jeffers was hidden in the garden of The Storybook Theater with his Kevin Chun-inspired gate.
