Hats off to Ben Simao, Christina Gabriel, Sandra Muragin, Kenneth Mizuno, Scott Ashworth (he even got to golf), and the many people who made the golf tournament benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network a huge success Saturday at the Kaua‘i Lagoons Golf Club.
Winston Ogata was up early last weekend for the Easter Seals tournament, and made it again for the Children’s Miracle Network tournament.
PONY leaders Mark Domingcil and Dondi Viquelia were glad the Bronco playoffs were settled Thursday, since they were both golfing in the tournament and Chip Bahouth and Leann Kamekona were thrilled about the opening of the Sheraton Kaua‘i lu‘au on Wednesday.
Chip said they feature an imu with a ceremony and rice pudding created in the imu along with the kalua pig, and Mi Nei Oliver is tremendous with her Polynesian revue, her songs drawing from Kaua‘i. Just have to go check it out, Wednesdays starting at 5:30 p.m.
And since it starts at 5:30 p.m., there’s time for some Helen Lacona soup at the Gourmet Community Market at The Shops at Kukui‘ula from 4 p.m.
