Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Anuhea will be the special guest performing at the Stars and Stripes Freedom Celebration July 3 at the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Mana.
All friends and supporters of PMRF are invited to this free family-friendly event which will be held at Shenanigans restaurant from 5 to 11 p.m., states a PMRF release.
Joining Anuhea in the entertainment lineup, the Greenstone Project, a popular Kaua‘i band, will open the show followed by Revival and Anuhea leading up to the fireworks display.
The Quake will fuel the “after-party” for the remainder of the evening.
Food, games and craft booths will be available throughout the event.
Capt. Nicholas Mongillo, the PMRF commanding officer, will be on hand to welcome the public and speak on the importance of Independence Day.
Admission is free and friends and supporters of PMRF, and guest cardholders can enter the base through the Kokole Point gate located adjacent to the county’s Kekaha landfill starting at 4 p.m.
Signs will be placed on Kaumuali‘i Highway for directions and free parking will be available on base.
Visitors are reminded that all vehicles will be subject to search, seat belts must be worn by all drivers and passengers of vehicles while on base, and no riding in pickup beds will be allowed.
No outside food or beverages, coolers, tents, pets, weapons, including knives of all types, or personal fireworks will be allowed and all backpacks are subject to search.
Beach umbrellas can be used during this drug-free event.
