Kudos to Dr. Brigitte Carreau and Dr. Derek Johnson on coordinating another great Kids Summer Fest Saturday at the Kaua‘i Beach Resort! Mahalo to Katie Gallo for making sure nothing fell through the cracks.
Cody Bonilla got to work with the AMR crew and Sam Johnson got to use the Kaua‘i Fire Department’s Pro Chair to distribute goodies. Sam got the VIP spot because his mom Terri is a physician’s assistant.
Kaua‘i Beach Resort security crew, including coach Mel Purcells, Lawrence Mundon and Valaka Gay Jr., did a great job keeping everyone safe and all the cars parked.
The homecoming queen was there with her family, but where was Eden Arellano?
Heather Taylor and Michelle Wang were here from China, helping Laura Taylor and Darbi Freeman with the Aloha Peace Project’s anti-bullying station, and Richard Matsumoto had a couple of his Red Raider track athletes volunteering as well.
OK, time to get ready for the Mustang playoffs on Tuesday and the start of the Hawai‘i Athletic Directors conference on Wednesday.
