WAILUA — Kaua‘i Police Department recovered the body of a 31-year-old male Sunday morning along the shoreline of Lydgate Beach Park.
According to KPD spokesperson Sarah Blane, the body was recovered near the Kamalani Bridge at about 6:30 a.m. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Police do not suspect foul play at this time. An autopsy is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday.
