The Waimea Menehune advanced to the title game of the Wally Yonamine Foundation Baseball Division II State Championships with a 9-4 win over Kamehameha-Hawai‘i Thursday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium in Honolulu.
BJ Freitas gave up one earned run over five innings in picking up the win and Brock Ephan went 2-for-4 with three RBI for the Menehune.
Waimea will take on Waipahu, who beat Maryknoll, Friday at 4 p.m.
