HONOLULU — Films directed by Native Hawaiians are currently being accepted for the ‘Oiwi Film Festival, according to a press release. The film festival runs Nov. 10 to 18 at the Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Museum of Art.
HONOLULU — Films directed by Native Hawaiians are currently being accepted for the ‘Oiwi Film Festival, according to a press release. The film festival runs Nov. 10 to 18 at the Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Museum of Art.
Films will be accepted through June 22. Submissions can be documentaries, feature films and shorts of any length and “highlight films by indigenous Hawaiian filmmakers to show Hawai‘i through their own eyes and in their own voices.”
