They were part of the group taking in the protocol ceremony honoring Prince Jonah Kuhio, Wednesday at the Marriott Waiohai Beach Club in Po‘ipu.
Kudos to Troy Allen Lazaro on doing such a great job (we need to figure out a better wireless mic setup, though) coordinating everything, and mahalo to Christina Gabriel who offered the heads-up on the ceremony.
Penny Anakalea said Aunty Janet Kahalekomo was busy doing hula and ‘ukulele at the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort and Spa, but was going to make the talk-story session as soon as she was done.
Saturday, it’s time to visit Warren Perry and the Royal Order of Kamehameha (Tom Shigemoto and Brent Harrington are definitely going to be there) at the Prince Kuhio Park for the formal ceremony honoring the Prince.
