The American Savings Bank employee giving program, combined with matching funds from the HEI Charitable Foundation, resulted in a $204,000 donation to Child and Family Services earlier this year.
Other participating organizations in the fundraising campaign, which ran from Nov. 15 to Dec. 9, were: Child and Family Services, Hawai‘i 3Rs, Partners in Development, Junior Achievement of Hawai‘i, Kapiolani Health Foundation, Aloha Untied Way, Maui United Way, Hawai‘i Island United Way, Kaua‘i United Way and the Friendly Isle United Fund.

American Savings Bank announced results of its third Bank for Education campaign.
From Sept. 16 to Dec. 15, customers who opened a new account could designate that local schools receive up to $40.
The bank awarded $10,000 to schools that received the highest number of customer designations in each county. In Kaua‘i County, it was Kapa‘a High School.
