LIHU‘E — The County of Kaua‘i Office of the Prosecuting Attorney announces the following indictments from the January 2012 grand jury sessions.
Alana Santiago-Lumabao received a five-count indictment alleging that on Jan. 7 he committed three counts of third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal property damage and first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, and causing bodily injury to three individuals. Trial is set for May 14.
Wayne Perreira Jr. received a five-count indictment alleging that on May 31, 2011, he committed two counts of third-degree possession of methamphetamine, two counts of drug paraphernalia and carrying a deadly weapon — metal knuckles. A warrant was issued, and bail was set at $5,000.
Fernando and Keanu Estenzo received a seven-count indictment for an arrest on Oct. 25, 2011. Fernando is charged with third-degree dangerous drug possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and four counts of fourth-degree possession of testosterone, trenbalone, stanozolol and nandrolone. Keanu Estenzo is charged with fourth-degree possession of buprenorphine. Their trial is set for June 16.
A three-count indictment was returned against Joel B. Villamor alleging that on Dec. 15, 2011, he committed first-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal property damage and family or household member abuse. Trial is set for June 4.
Gabriel Brown received a five-count indictment alleging that on Nov. 20, 2011. He is charged with unauthorized control of a vehicle, reckless driving, an accident involving damage, two counts of inattention to driving that caused an accident, and failure to stop or remain at the scene of an accident. Trial is set for April 16.
Suzanne Perry was indicted for prohibited acts related to controlled substances by obtaining or attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud or deceit. A warrant was issued, and bail is set at $1,000.
Kevin K. Christian received a 19-count indictment. The charges allege that that on Jan. 5, he committed first-degree attempted murder with use of a firearm, two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree criminal property damage, and 13 counts of first-degree reckless endangering by firing gunshots at a police officer and into the property of others. A trial is set for April 9.
Macy Someda-Dill was indicted for an Oct. 10, 2011, incident alleging unauthorized control of a vehicle. A warrant was issued, and bail was set at $1,000.
Ken Maurice Lardizabal received an 11-count indictment alleging that on Dec. 19, 2011, he committed one count of second-degree sexual assault and 10 counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. His trial is scheduled June 12.
Chance M.P. Taala received a four-count indictment. He is accused of first-degree sexual assault and three-counts of third-degree sexual assault against a minor. The trial is set for May 7.
