Puakea Golf Course in Lihu‘e and Makai Golf Club at Princeville are the two sites where Kaua‘i youngsters can experience the Hawai‘i Junior Golf Day on March 10.
The free, introductory golf experience for juniors of any age is hosted by the Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association and the Aloha Section PGA.
Kaua‘i’s two golf courses are part of a network of 13 golf courses across the state where juniors are able to experience the sport of golf.
The purpose is to introduce Hawai‘i’s keiki between the ages of 5 through 17 who have never played, or are beginners to golf ,by providing them with a free experience.

On-site registration on March 10 starts at 8:30 a.m., with clinics running from 9 to 11 a.m.
If a child does not have clubs, age-appropriate equipment will be provided by U.S. Kids Club and Starting New at Golf companies.
Parents will receive the booklet, “Roadmap to Junior Golf,” which contains information on where they can enroll their child in a junior golf program.
