Thick slices of baked ham and Roast Baron of Beef, an array of colorful fruit and freshly baked banana bread topped the plates of hungry foodies who attended the 26th Annual American Culinary Federation Breakfast at Kaua‘i Community College.
The annual event, which took place Feb. 19, was a benefit for KCC’s culinary arts program. Chefs, students and volunteers prepared an array of breakfast items, which included eggs Benedict, omelets, pancakes, pastries and glasses of juice and coffee.
KCC culinary instructor Chef Martina Hilldorfer presented scholarships to students with the help of members from the Hawai‘i Hotel and Lodging Association and the Rotary Club of Kapa‘a.
