LIHUE — The Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding a runaway.
Chivas Waika Alapai was last seen at around 10 p.m. on Jan. 11, when he left home without permission and failed to return. He has not made contact with his family since.
Alapai is 16 years old, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs roughly 210 pounds.
He is of Hawaiian descent with short black hair, brown eyes, a tan complexion and a medium build.
Alapai has two identifiable tattoos. The letters “ESB” are tattooed his right forearm, and the name “Alapai” is in large letters on his upper back.
