PINE TREES — Matt Holzman took top honors at the first annual Red Eye Body Boarding and SUP competition held at Pine Trees on Saturday.
Holzman edged out second place finisher Travis Smith to lay claim to the Pro Open body boarding competition with Matt Domingcil and Nick Wehrly tying for third place.
Storm Magasanay won the Open Teen division with Gavyn Gonzalez coming in second and Bronson Laborte in third.
Kahekili Kelekoma ended Saturday as the top Keiki body boarder with Lanakila Dusenberry and Marc Bennett rounding out the top three.
In the Amateur Open division, Gino Marchino took first place with Jordan Garcia and Nick Wehrly placing second and third.
In the Drop Knee division, Daniel Fee took home the junior crown with Storm Magasanay in second and Kaeden Fernandez in third, while David Phillips won the Senior division with Mark Silva and Adam Bice coming in behind him.
Avery Rown came away with the Girls Open title with Ranasha Ortiz finishing in second place.
In the SUP open division, Leleo Kinimaka took the top prize with Mitchell Alapa and Nephi Quereto coming in second and third.
