Veterans’ Christmas party scheduled for Sunday in Lihu‘e

Active military personnel, veterans and their immediate families are invited to the annual Christmas party, Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center located on Kapule Highway in Lihu‘e. On tap for the festive event hosted by the Kaua‘i Veterans Council are Veterans Benefit workshops, spiritual healing, a variety of games and lots of good food.

This is a reflection of gratitude to those who served as well as to those who are currently serving, said Ed Kawamura of the Veterans Helping Veterans program.
