There is only one word to describe the work by Eileen Winters and the Rotary Club of Kaua‘i — WOW!
Eileen and the Rotary Club are now the head of the Lights on Rice parade which was formally “blessed” by a passing squall (it wasn’t showers because the shoes got soaked) and played out to thousands of people, Friday.
Sharron Weber (another Rotarian from the Kalepa Sunrise club) has new flashlights from the Tire Warehouse float and Tricia Yamashita (another Kalepa Sunrise Rotarian) will be welcoming people to the Kaua‘i Hospice candlelight service this evening.
Val Rynda of FM97 wanted to know how come her daughter got to ride and she got to walk and Ron Wiley of KQNG was losing his voice (was that because Laura was there?).
Kathy Miyake and her CPB crew (anyone check out the Jack-in-the-Box) is still trying to figure out how to balance those glow products (they were “CPB” inscribed this year) and Lani Boyd was able to get Willy Wonka to the parade (that was quite an honor).
Now, if we can only figure out how to get people to put the trash in the right place …
