Edwin Vea (he was at the Kaua‘i Christmas Parade, Saturday) said Karin Panui has to sew a lot of stuff for the Kaua‘i Museum craft fair, Friday. Katherine Poppin has her new fabric-covered wooden boxes this year and will be at the fair as well and Cheryl Tsutsui will make a special trip from Honolulu to sign copies of her rice book (she’ll be at the Wednesday market at The Shops at Kukui‘ula, as well).
Kudos to Jason Fujinaka and Ron Wood for doing such a great job with the Kaua‘i Christmas Parade, Saturday. Much mahalo to Bella Roberts (she’s a Mokihana swimmer) for the McD dessert card. Bella and her brother Luke was doing the parade along with Ron Wiley and kudos to Kim Tamaoka of the Garden Island Federal Credit Union on her first parade.
OK, time to get ready for the Lights on Rice parade which is being headed up by Eileen Winters and The Rotary Club of Kaua‘i.
