Indictments issued for September, October
LIHU‘E — Kaua‘i Prosecuting Attorney Shaylene Iseri-Carvalho released the list of Grand Jury Session Indictments from September and October. The defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Alvin Isobe and Joseph K. Rapozo III are facing first-degree theft, second-degree theft, and second-degree criminal property damage charges when they damaged and stole an ATM machine and its cash on Sept. 26. A jury trial is set for Feb. 27.
Robin Servantes, Tricia Rosa, Shauday Ragudo and Joseph K. Rapozo III together face third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, third-degree promotion of the detrimental drug marijuana, and drug paraphernalia charges from a July 30 incident. Arrest warrants were issued for all four individuals with bail set at $5,000 each.
Norman R. Bukoski Jr. was indicted for first-degree negligent homicide, second-degree negligent homicide, and first-degree negligent injury for operating his vehicle in a negligent manner while under the influence of drugs or alcohol on Jan. 19, 2010. An accident caused the death of Tomas Garcia Jr. and caused serious bodily injury to Aaron Marvin. A jury trial is set for March 19.
Bronson Balino and Michael N. Montapert face a 17-count indictment for second-degree methamphetamine trafficking, second-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, two-counts of third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug cocaine, second-degree promotion of the harmful drugs oxycodone and hydrocodone and two counts of drug paraphernalia from an Aug. 5 arrest.
Balino was also indicted for third-degree promotion of the detrimental drug marijuana. A jury trial is set for March 12.
Bronson Balino and Andrew Hall face third-degree promotion of methamphetamine, second-degree trafficking of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia from a Sept. 10 arrest. A jury trial is set for Jan. 23.
Joel Acoba Jose faces third-degree sexual assault and having sexual contact with two persons under 14 years of age on or about Sept. 12. A jury trial is set for March 5.
David Borges faces a 10-count indictment for crimes committed between Oct. 7 and 12. They include second-degree robbery, third-degree assault, first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle for using force against a person to commit a theft, causing bodily injury, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle; second-degree assault by causing bodily injury with a dangerous instrument, reckless driving, accidents involving vehicle or property damage, third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, prohibitions against weapons, and failing to stop after an accident involving property damage. A jury trial is set for Feb. 27.
Samiuela Moala is indicted on first-degree arson and first-degree reckless endangerment for setting his vehicle on fire in a parking lot and placing nearby vehicles and persons in danger of death or bodily injury on Oct. 24. A jury trial is set for March 5.
Hapaki Mainaauopo is facing a three-count indictment for harassment, third-degree assault and first-degree terroristic threat of a public servant stemming from a Sept. 3 incident. A jury trial is set for Feb. 21.
Stanley Chock is facing two counts of third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, two counts of drug paraphernalia, place to keep ammunition, prohibited possession of firearms and butterfly knives from an Aug. 13 arrest. A jury trial is set for Feb. 13.
Timothy Conwill faces two counts of third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, two counts of drug paraphernalia, place to keep ammunition, and prohibited possession of a firearm after an Aug. 13 arrest. A jury trial is set for Feb. 13.
Linda Dannog is facing two counts of third-degree promotion of methamphetamine and two counts of drug paraphernalia from an Aug. 13 arrest. A jury trial is set for Feb. 13.
John L. Krause faces second-degree robbery, attempted second-degree theft, attempted third-degree assault for threats made while engaged in a theft, third-degree assault for causing bodily injury and attempting to cause injury to another, and fourth-degree theft on July 21. A jury trial is set for Jan. 17.
Rick Trinque and Miles Martinez are indicted from March 19, 2009, charges of first-degree commercial promotion of marijuana (100 plants or more) and drug paraphernalia. A jury trial is set for Feb. 13.
Terrance Ceria faces second-degree methamphetamine trafficking, third-degree promotion of the drug, fourth-degree promotion of a harmful drug, two-counts of drug paraphernalia, possessing a loaded firearm on a public highway, place to keep loaded firearms, place to keep unloaded firearms, place to keep pistol or revolver, possession of a firearm with intent to facilitate the commission of a felony drug offense and place to keep ammunition from a July 26 arrest. A jury trial is set for March 12.
Kaili Ragudo was indicted on third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia from a July 26 arrest. A jury trial is set for March 12.
Eric W. M. Rivera and Ken Yamahiro face second-degree methamphetamine trafficking, second-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia from an Aug. 26 arrest. Rivera also faces third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, and another count of drug paraphernalia. A jury trial is set for March 5.
Eric W. M. Rivera is facing third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, third-degree promotion of the detrimental drug marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from an Aug. 26 arrest. A jury trial is set for March 5. A warrant was issued and bail is set at $2,000.
Fred Rivera faces third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia charges from an Aug. 11 arrest. An arrest warrant was issued and bail is set at $2,000.
Ramah Wong faces third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia from a May 24 incident.
An arrest warrant was issued.
Ken Yamahiro faces two counts of first-degree methamphetamine trafficking, seven-counts of second-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, and nine counts of drug paraphernalia from an Aug. 26 arrest. A jury trial is set for March 27.
Shan Costa-Brum faces four-counts of third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, and four-counts of drug paraphernalia from an Aug. 17 incident. A warrant was issued and bail is set at $8,000.
Shan Costa-Brum and Jasmine Duque face two counts of third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, two counts of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, and failure to possess a motor vehicle insurance card from a June 3 incident.
Arrest warrants were issued and bail is set at $4,100 for Costa-Brum and $2,000 for Duque.
Brendan A. Duarte faces third-degree promotion of the dangerous drug methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia charges from a May 31 incident. A warrant was issued and bail is set at $20,000.
Henry N. Rabot, Shawn Aviguetero, and Alfredo Ascuncion together face a nine-count indictment from a May 31 arrest.
Rabot faces two counts of place to keep unloaded firearms and unlawful possession of two firearms; Aviguetero for place to keep unloaded firearms, place to keep ammunition and permit to acquire firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, and acquiring a firearm without proper permit; Ascuncion for place to keep unloaded firearms, place to keep ammunition and two counts of possession of firearms and ammunition as a convicted felon. A jury trial is set for March 19.
Donald Kagawa faces first-degree terroristic threats and criminal trespass onto public parks and recreational grounds from a Dec. 17 arrest. A jury trial is set for March 19.
Nolan Kawika Keola-Kaleimamahu faces obstructing government operations, resisting arrest, and two counts of second-degree assault for causing injury against two law enforcement officers and hindering government operations on Sept. 26.
An arrest warrant was issued and bail is set at $6,250.
Joycelynn Kanahele faces first-degree burglary, unauthorized entry into a dwelling, family or household member abuse, and fourth-degree criminal property damage from an Aug. 13 arrest. A jury trial is set for Feb. 27.
Jonie Ragasa was indicted for second-degree criminal property damage exceeding $1,500 on March 31. A bench warrant was issued.
Ragasa is ordered to be released on his own recognizance once the warrant is served.
