Ryan Nakasone’s grandma is a graduate of Kaua‘i High School Class of 1966 who came home for the reunion and returned Friday to watch her grandson play soccer for Pearl City High School.
Coach Kevin Cram of Kapa‘a had his boys ready despite having to worry about a car wash Saturday (Sybil Nishioka said they were going to set up for the All Saints Craft Fair right after the game).
Bev Harter joined Casey Riemer (he had some really nice San Francisco shots from his trip) at the game to watch Austin Riemer play.
Leonard Vegas is still waiting on the release of the film he has a speaking role in. He was at the Pearl City soccer game against Waimea at Hanapepe Stadium along with Dean Okayama (no, he didn’t go to the Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run since Jared was hurt).
Kudos to Swim Kaua‘i Aquatics Coach Billy Brown and his SKA ‘ohana on a great swim meet! With the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School drum corps in the background, it sounded like a college meet. OK, what did they have at the rummage sale?
