Hats off to Charlene Burgess and her great team at the Kaua‘i Community Based Outpatient Clinic on hosting a great dedication program!
Patricia Matthews of the O‘ahu office was enjoying the unique musical stylings of veterans Henry Rabot on ‘ukulele and Al Garcia on a modified pakini bass (he was using a resin bucket).
It was a day of veterans, since Bill Honjiyo and Ed Kawamura had two appearances, once at the mayor’s office for the Vietnam War veterans and then at the CBOC dedication.
They’re busy getting ready for the Veterans Day parade next Saturday (check out Phyllis Kunimura and the KIDS School craft fair as well — ono grinds, great entertainment and cool things to buy).
Dickie Chang and Ron Wiley have been busy … both doing the Kaua‘i Lifeguard Association funds distribution, Wednesday and on Thursday, Ron was with Scott Giarman and Lynette Medrano-Stine in accepting contributions from Merriman’s and Malama Pono, while Dickie did emcee duty at the county’s Employee Council’s Spooktacular.
OK, it’s time for the big game!
