LIHU‘E — County officials on Friday announced that Mahina Rivera-Denning, 13, was found and is safe. Rivera-Denning, of Hawaiian descent, had ran away on Sept. 18, and had not made contact with her family since, according to Kaua‘i Police Department.

Summer Keohokapu-Dutton, 16, of Kapa‘a, remains missing.
Keohokapu-Dutton is of Caucasian and Hawaiian descent, 5 feet 4 inches and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
She has long brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. She was last seen June 7, and has not made contact with her family since, according to KPD.
