Name: Junior Ingram
Hometown: Kekaha
Jarod Powell of Farsyde Tattoo inked this black-and-grey, half arm sleeve of a dragon, koi, waves, cherry blossoms and a Japanese lantern with the kanji symbol for ‘strength.’ Junior loves Japanese art and desired a beautiful piece to call his own. Junior wanted the koi tattooed to represent the struggles, trials and tribulations of life. Legend has it that if a koi succeeds in swimming up the Yellow River it will turn into a dragon, so the Koi is commonly associated with perseverance and strength.
