Garden Island Federal Credit Union employees went casual for a cause and raised $1,000 during a three-week campaign for Children’s Miracle Network, a GIFCU press release states.
The credit union participated in Miracle Jeans Day, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals around the country.
The funds raised at Garden Island FCU were donated to the state’s local Miracle Network Hospital, Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children.
Garden Island FCU members also joined in to support the cause.
Each member who donated $5 or more received a free coin bag.
