Besides Pop Warner football, what do Kalaheo School principal Erik Burkman and Billy DeCosta have in common? Both were walking in the front of the Kalaheo School Walking School Bus Wednesday (Lt. Mark Scriber said the kids were very well-behaved!).

Both were walking in the front of the Kalaheo School Walking School Bus Wednesday (Lt. Mark Scriber said the kids were very well-behaved!). Billy said they both make an impact in the lives of young people with the work they do.
Kudos to Jenn Bloom (she didn’t even come to remind at Tuesday night’s volleyball game) and Bev Brody, Erik Burkman and Pat Gegan on the huge walking school bus (who were the cheerleaders at the end?).
Joy Miura Koerte and Sara Miura were helping Turk Tokita at the Veterans Museum while waiting on the arrival of the French people from Bruyeres and Biffontaine Wednesday. Joy said they’ll be cooking nishme in preparation for the Lihu‘e Christian Church bazaar (it’s this morning, people!).
Kudos to Judi Murakami, Susan Honjiyo, Ken and Dee Morikawa, Aida Cruz, Turk Tokita and Whitey Kurasaki (he was in Bruyeres!) on a great job hosting the French people during their brief stay on Kaua‘i!
OK, time to go visit Dr. Cindy Goldstein at Pioneer Hi-Bred.
