KAPA‘A — Kapa‘a Rotarians on Saturday will be at the Big Save/Times Market in Kapa‘a (adjacent to the Kapa‘a Post Office) selling chances to win a Great Alaskan Adventure, which is a luxury vacation to Seattle with a Alaskan cruise.
KAPA‘A — Kapa‘a Rotarians on Saturday will be at the Big Save/Times Market in Kapa‘a (adjacent to the Kapa‘a Post Office) selling chances to win a Great Alaskan Adventure, which is a luxury vacation to Seattle with a Alaskan cruise.
The Great Alaskan Adventure is just one component of the Kaua‘i Lifeguard Association First Wave Fundraiser. The project, which all Kaua‘i Rotary Clubs are supporting, intends to raise almost $150,000 in order to purchase four jet skis and three ATVs “so that our lifeguards have the tools needed to reduce the amount of drownings on our island,” a press release stated.
