Calvin Lagazo couldn’t see his daughter Vakeesha play volleyball since he was part of the intercultural drum program, Friday, but he said he told her to “just have fun.”
Happy birthday to Dee Morikawa who was able to squeeze in birthday dinner following the “Transitions for a Secure Tomorrow” legislative forum, Thursday night. Hats off to El Doi (Steven Doi was busy cooking) for coordinating the event and Ian Ross (look for him during the Domestic Violence awareness events at Kaua‘i Community College) did a great job moderating it.
Sharon Pancho is thrilled Kaua‘i Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. is going to show up at the Kaua‘i Ocean Recreation Experience, Oct. 22, and Wanda Shibata was jotting down a bunch of good ideas on how to make things work.
Kudos to Theresa Koki, Regina Carvalho and all those who put together the county’s Health and Wellness Fair, too!
