Happy birthday to Larry Rivera and J Robertson of Hoike Community Television who both celebrated their special day Wednesday, Larry noting that he spent the morning walking around the Westside where he was born 81 years ago.
Ada Koene is thrilled because her son Roeland is here from Holland with his wife Brigitte and daughter Iris. They were joined by Sandi Sterker (she was happy there was no Cost Control Commission meeting) enjoying the afternoon at the Shops at Kukui‘ula, Wednesday. Roeland coordinates Nikon (camera) professionals in Europe.
Aletha Thomas is getting married and had her family here from Portland, Oregon, Wallawalla, Washington, and even Canada, losing little time getting help from sister Heidi in creating jams and getting her parents to help with the labels in time for the Wednesday Gourmet Community Market at the Shops at Kukui‘ula.
Veronica Lovesy was busy getting ready for the reception for golfer Tom Weiskof at The Club, but managed to get in some of the market before heading for the reception.
