KAPA‘A — The Kaua‘i Police Activities League yesterday announced that Hip Hop classes will resume on Monday at the Kaua‘i Police Activities League Youth Center in Kapa‘a.
Classes are held Mondays from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for youth ages 5 to 17, under the direction of Emmsley Drake with Excel! Dance Studio.
Applicants may register with the instructor during the scheduled class time. Registration for this class is ongoing and all applications must be signed by a legal guardian.
Classes will be held at the KPAL Youth Center located at 4800 Kawaihau Rd. on the Mahelona Medical Center property in Kapa‘a. Turn into Mahelona Hospital, drive past the emergency room toward the elderly housing and the KPAL Youth Center is on the right.
The cost for each activity is $20 for the year and current members will not be charged for this class. Scholarships are being offered to those who demonstrate financial need.
