Mokihana Aquatics hosts free tryouts this month

LIHU‘E — Mokihana Aquatics is hosting free swimming tryouts for the month of September at the Kaua‘i High School pool.

Tryouts will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays through the month of September.

To be eligible for the free tryouts, swimmers must be able to swim at least one length of the pool, or 25 yards, using any stroke.

Swimmers 8 years old and younger are invited to try out from 5 to 6 p.m. and Masters swimmers are also welcome to join the group, their tryouts running from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
